In accordance with the by-laws of the professional association, he succeeds Laurent Mignon, Chairman of the Management Board of Groupe BPCE.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Philippe Brassac, Chief Executive Officer of Cr\u00e9dit Agricole S.A., becomes Vice-Chairman of the FBF. Nicolas Th\u00e9ry, Chairman of the Conf\u00e9d\u00e9ration Nationale du Cr\u00e9dit Mutuel, remains Treasurer.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The others members of the Executive Committee are: Jean-Laurent Bonnaf\u00e9, Director and Chief Executive Officer of BNP Paribas, Laurent Mignon, Chairman of the Management Board of Groupe BPCE and R\u00e9my Weber, Chairman of the Management Board of La Banque Postale, as the representative of the French Bankers Association.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Founded in 2001, the FBF represents the 340 French and foreign banks which operate in France. It covers all banking and financial regulatory questions at the French, European and international levels, as well as all subjects relating to the bank&#8217;s role in society. The FBF has representatives in Brussels and Frankfurt. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With 362 800 employees, the French banking industry is one of the leading private employers in France.
